2010 Best Android Music Player App – Better than iPhone

I just wanted to take a second to introduce a new music player app that I found for android. It is call “Rock On” and while I can not find it on the Google Android Market (YET). I must say it is one of – NO IT IS THE BEST music player for Android that I have found so far and I have pretty much used them all. It worlds better on newer fast android 2.0 devices like my Motorola Droid but even my G1 can use the player pretty smoothly. It has a sexy swip interface with is actually easier to use than the iPhone and just as visually pleasing on the eyes.
But that is not the best part. It fills in the COVER ART for ALL YOUR MUSIC!!! Something that even on the iphone their isn’t an app for that. You don’t know how much of a pain it is to have thousands of songs, literally Gigabytes of Music and a music player app with no album art. Well the Rock on music player app has got you covered. The first time you start it up the Rock On Player the App will go through all your music and search the INTERNET for the cover art for each album in your music library. The Rock On App usually selects the correct image but just in case it doesn’t you can slim though other images while you are still listening to music and choose the image that fits your player the best.
Like I said before the Rock On Music Player is not yet on this offcial Google Android Market but you can find it on the Android App store Alternative Slide Me. The Music Player is very different and involves a small amount of getting used to as all the controls and navigation on the App are gestures base but once you get the hang of it, you will find that Rock On is by far one of the best and most intuitive Music Player Apps for Android. Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
