DJ Khaled signs with Cash Money – In an interesting turn of events this week Birdman successfully signed DJ Khaled to Cash Money Records. DJ Khaled has been no stranger to working with the Young Money / Cash Money crew so it only made sense to sign the paper work and make it official. “It’s definitely official, and I’m just excited about the new deal with Cash Money. Shout to Birdman, Slim. And free Weezy.” Khaled told VIBE. “You know, I’ve always been a Cash Money member, not officially but I’ve been a fan forever.”

“Birdman always loved my work and passion. We’ve known each other for years, and he’s always told me when you fulfill your contract with E1 you always got a home over here,” Khaled explained. “I was going to sign myself, but I called Birdman and he said ‘let’s get the deal done in an hour.’ He just wanted to make it happen.”
