SOUTH DADE RECORDS is pleased to announce the release of “Buss Shots”, the highly anticipated first single off Anjuli Stars forthcoming body of work STARVATION VOL. 2. The record “Buss Shots” was produced by StayBent Krunkadelic & written by Anjuli Stars. At first listen, “Buss Shots” is an aggressive hip-hop cut, with gunshots blasting throughout the record. “The gun shots are a metaphor for expression.” Says Anjuli, who penned the song in late 2010. “The song is about shooting down through lyrical expression. I’m not literally shooting anyone. Its not a violent record at all, I actually consider it a love song.” The track, which is set to hit the airwaves December 13th, will kick off the countdown for STARVATION VOL. 2. Recorded entirely in her hometown of Miami, STARVATION VOL. 2 marks Anjuli’s follow up to last years, Volume 1. The “Buss Shots” music video will premiere tomorrow December 13th 2011.
