I a recent interview with Peter Rosenberg, we learn the turn about Drake’s Religious Background and YES Drizzy Drake was raised as a PRACTICING Jew, Drake’s mother is Jewish, Drake grew up in a predominately Jewish Neighborhood, and Drake attended a predominately Jewish School growing up in. Drake even Admits to having a Bar-Mitzvah when he turned 13.

So will Drakes Jewish Heritage end up hurting his record sales?

Short Answer is Probably not. While Drake’s has a White and Jewish Mother from Canada, Drake Also has an African American, Muslim Father from Memphis, Tennessee. While Drake was raised primary raised by his Jewish mother, Drake his visit his dad in Tennessee from time to time and they had a pretty close relationship over the phone. So drake has the best of both worlds I suppose then. The support of Young Money, Lil Wayne and a ton of other people in the rap game and now that this News is out quite possibly a die hard Jewish fan-base who will go out and buy drake’s albums and mixtapes religiously.

If he was proud of being Jewish, I’m sure he would reference atleast one thing about it in one of his songs. This journalist isn’t over exaggerating anything. He did “admit” to having a Bar Mitzvah…which means he didn’t just come out and say anything about it in ANY of his interviews. Simply, he told the truth when he was asked. “Proudliljew”, you are just stating YOUR OWN opinion.

“Admits to having a Bar-Mitzvah”…I didn’t realize that was a crime. In fact you make being Jewish sound like a disease (to paraphrase your writing ‘good thing he has a legit black Muslim father or he’d be screwed’). It’s a good thing this site is not popular because it is racist. Drake is clearly proud of his Judaism and you should be ashamed of your words.
