Kanye West and His Mother

Kanye West and His Mother

Kanye West and His Mother Donda West rage interview footage of them kicking back remembering and reminiscing on all time. Kanye’s mother was extremely supportive of him and in many ways help him to achieve the level of success his has today. I remember a quote Kanye said about his mother saying that, sometimes it is not what she said but how she said it. On an occasion when Kanye told his mother that he had decided to become a College Dropout to pro-sue a career in the music industry she didn’t flip out. Kanye’s mom simply told him that if he wasn’t being PAID to make music than he should consider it a hobby. That is a really good way of putting it and Kanye when on to say that this is one of the main reason why he loves his mother so much. Watch the heart warming vintage footage of Kanye West and His Mother Donda West after the jump. RIP Donda West 1949 – 2007

Kanye West and His Mother Dr. Donda West Spit an Old Verse [Rare Footage] – Kanye West and His Mother reminisce about one of his old high school rhymes:
I walk through the halls of the school
And it’s cool being known by many for my rappin ability
But what about the brothers who ain’t got it like me?
Makin money off the trade, you can say I had it it made
Drugs are on the rise and its not a big surprise
See no soul in a young brother’s eyes
…Hard by the streets, but the streets are kinda hard
But here’s another fact that we can’t disregard
Black on black is a stab in my back
It really hurts my soul when i hear about that….

@Snip3erDom dude, you’re a douche. i was correcting your statement and now you’re calling me a dickrider? sorry for not being a 12 year old like you not knowing who kanye was back in 03. but for most older people like me, we knew who he was. idiot.

What’s the name of the song they are rhyming?

Its very heartwarming for me to see a humble, talented, and aspiring Kanye's out there. But its disgusting to see that after getting what they aspired for, they become arrogant, still talented, and greedy. You'll all gain real respect from more people if you stay the same while being kickass, and not an ass.

@TheBohemianEffect Note how she keeps asking him why he wouldn’t use it, and he keeps just saying “it’s good..it’s good.” They do that a lot. They simply ignore questions about why they did stuff a certain way. For some reason, they won’t answer that type of question very much (at all.) If you point it out hard to them, they will ask you why you’re asking them so many questions. This isn’t a 1 time thing. You, or I would just say why we hadn’t used the song yet. Not Narcissists.

    Gay fish.

  • http://hiphop.hypeeater.com/author/AnzoEggsidedYo/ AnzoEggsidedYo

@TheBohemianEffect Watch the end of the video that says "Kanye walks off while talking on the Canadien Urban Radio Network. "….That's the Anger Narcissists will display, and it will be in response to things we won't get nearly as upset about. That's just totally off the charts. He's upset, cuz he can't be the only one talking. It's power stuff.

Kanye's always had his ego issues, it's just apart of his personality, but what kept him grounded was his mama (many of us have mothers who bring us back to reality). I honestly believe when he lost his mom, he def lost a piece of himself…and his ego in return blew up beyond belief to sort of fill that missing piece. Losing someone close to you can change everything about you. And there use to be a childlike trait to him, from his ego to his giddiness. That's disappeared sadly; understandably!

  • http://hiphop.hypeeater.com/author/AnzoEggsidedYo/ AnzoEggsidedYo

@TheBohemianEffect Don't get me wrong. Narcissists make outstanding live performers. They almost never get nervous about performing. They welcome it. They think people need their genius. You can hear that from Kanye many times in interviews: "People need my music." Kanye is a very creative person. Hanging out with Narcissists is like being friends with the world's smartest 6 year old.

  • http://hiphop.hypeeater.com/author/AnzoEggsidedYo/ AnzoEggsidedYo

@TheBohemianEffect Far as your specific question goes, Narcissists do seem to get some weird high off denying someone something they really want from them. Like if you give them some headphones, you might get a "thanks." Big maybe. You better not ask them if they like them. If you do, then you really better not ask twice. We totally think it's normal to ask someone if they are enjoying their new gift. If you do that with Narcissists, they will get a high off not answering you. They're sick.

  • http://hiphop.hypeeater.com/author/AnzoEggsidedYo/ AnzoEggsidedYo

@TheBohemianEffect I'm used to it. I've been friends with a Narcissist singer for 3 years. They do the same childish things over n' over again. They're damn good at charming strangers. See the lil performance Kanye gave on Leno the night after he messed up Taylor Swift's moment? That's a Narcissist using every skill he has. Only Narcissists are that good at charming people they don't know…

  • http://hiphop.hypeeater.com/author/AdamnHo/ AdamnHo

Seeing the old Kanye reminds me of his breakthrough song, "Through the Wire". I miss his old stuff. Now, this making me listen to his old tunes like "All Falls Down", "Jesus Walks", "Slow Jams". Damn, I love his "The College Dropout" album.

  • http://hiphop.hypeeater.com/author/TheBohemianEffect/ TheBohemianEffect

@AnzoEggsidedYo that's a really intriguing perspective, how'd you derive to that?

  • http://hiphop.hypeeater.com/author/hound4680/ hound4680

    she kept him grounded.

  • http://hiphop.hypeeater.com/author/frankpaws/ frankpaws

Kind of cool to see a humble Kanye. To bad he isn't as humble anymore.I know fame and money can do things, but there are many people with fame and money who are humble.

  • http://hiphop.hypeeater.com/author/iCaged/ iCaged

anyone believe he sacrificed his mom conspiracy?

  • http://hiphop.hypeeater.com/author/thecool702/ thecool702

@Snip3erDom oh yeah, he had a number 1 single in 2003 with "slow jamz" and a top 5 rap song with "through the wire" but naw… i guess having 2 hit singles in the same year doesn't make you famous, as well as having a triple platinum album release early in 04 but i guess he wasn't famous back then tho (sarcasm)… smh -_-

  • http://hiphop.hypeeater.com/author/kennyboirox/ kennyboirox

My raps are better then kanye my albums will probably not platinum but double uranium son oh wait I forgot I don't rap hahahaKanye has a couple great songs..
