Kanye West Power Music Video Vevo – So Kanye just released the ~~“Music Video”~~ moving Painting for Power and I really must say that disapointment is an understatment. After watching this video I almost feel like Kanye West played me us all out. I previously reported on the Kanye Power MTV x Vevo event yesterday when the director released a short youtube video discribing the concept, the production process and even giving us some teaser visuals. (In retrospect I feel the actual Vevo Power Video is the teaser) up until a few moments ago I was extremely excited about the it. Here is a quote from a commenter on the Kanye West Power Video Teaser posted before the official vevo joint was released.

it looks like Kanye’s “Power” video is going to be mind blowing in the imagery area…also controversial….this changes the directors game? in cinematography…

My sentiments with the comments author couldn’t be more synchronism with my own point of view prior to watching the actual Power Vevo Video. Let me cut to the chase. The new Kanye Power Video is only 1.44 minutes long. Don’t get me wrong the visuals on the video and entire concept in general are compete genius but it’s cut short length has made the video feel more of an advertisement for Kanye’s new upcoming 2010 album. For Christ sake the video about the video is at least 3 minutes long. I really hope that their is an extended version of this out their but somehow I doubt it. I guess the fans could thought this video together with the BET performance of power and have something that is viable with out getting musical blue balls. And now some twitter responses to Kanye West’s Power Vevo Video than emulate my own feelings as well.
PS : Kanye We love you . . . I love this song . . . I even love this video but please don’t do the fans like this and finish the video!!!
