No world on an official release date for the project yet but one thing is for certain, this album is going to be crazy. Kid Cudi, after warning fans on twitter dropped a first listen to his upcoming ‘rock’ project Wizard entitled “Perfect Is The Word.” Produced by Cudi cohort Dot Da Genius (who introduced us to the Cudi Zone with the hit single ‘Day & Nite’), “Perfect is The Word” is somewhat underwhelming on first listen. I’ve always given Cudi credit for not going the Wiz Khalifa route and embracing his manic, emo self. I was concerned when he announced he was quitting drugs (even WEED say it ain’t so, Mescudi!) and he mentioned he wanted to do an all rock LP.
Obviously he’s got some things to work out. What do you make of the song? Could be a grower. Personally, my favorite Cudi was the ‘A Kid Named Cudi’ mixtape. But I embrace an artist’s creative growth and evolution. We’ll see. In other news PUSHA T is going to be in the new season of How To Make It In America
