During a recent interview with YMCMB CEO, Birdman, Baby Says that the New Nicki Minaj Album Coming in the first quarter of 2012. That is right accound the corner so they better start dropping some new singles / hype tracks now! Like before Christmas.

It’s beena bout a year since Young Money mistress Nicki Minaj released her debut album, Pink Friday, and with Nicki solidifying her place in music the YMCMB camp is planning for the follow up album. In an interview with Billboard, Birdman spoke on Nicki’s sophomore effort and the plans to drop it at the top of next year:

“Nicki’s back in the studio, so we’re looking to drop Nicki in the first quarter,” he says.

If 2012 seenm too long of a wait, we may be in luck as a new single from the Harajuku Barbie may be released before this year is out:

“Maybe this year? I don’t know,” says Birdman. “We’re really thinking it out. But she’s in the studio, and we’re looking real soon, because she’s ready to go and we’re ready to go with her.”

It’ll be interesting to see what she cooks up in the studio, especially with her recent talks of Roman Zolansky’s return. Are you ready for Nicki’s second album?
