SD Exclusive: Talib Kweli Talks Liberation 2, Death Of CDs, Prisoner Of Conscious & More . . . . After the kick off for his Gutter Rainbows tour in Seattle, I had the opportunity to chop it up with Talib about various topics. We talked about his live band he introduced on the tour and how he assembled these people together. Then, we transition into the CD format dying and if there’s anything we could do to recover it. He reveals that Prisoner Of Conscious will be on CD and if it feels weird to go back to the dying format as well as Gutter Rainbows‘ success.
