Travis Barker didn’t blink an eye before threatening legal action against a gossip website that posted nude photos of him online.

Lawyers for the Blink-182 drummer fired off a cease and desist letter to MediaTakeOut on Wednesday, demanding the explicit images be immediately taken offline, according to TMZ.com.

MediaTakeOut previously reported that an unnamed musician had sent the pictures to a female admirer. Though the site never named Barker, it didn’t take long before fans made the connection after identifying the 36-year-old rocker’s distinctive tattoos.

Soon after the images circulated around the Internet, Barker’s lawyer reportedly called it an “unauthorized use of private photos.”

A source told TMZ that the images in question are over five years old and were “never intended for public viewing or to be seen by anyone else.”

It appears the legal threat worked. MediaTakeOut has since removed their story and the pictures from the website – but not before it was viewed over 400,000 times.
